Children's Ministry
Our children’s ministry provides an atmosphere in which every child feels loved and valued. With our teachings always geared toward the child’s age and comprehension level, we lay the foundation for having a genuine relationship with Christ. We help the child grow in knowledge and understanding of that relationship through Bible training and simple practice of Christian principles. Besides Sunday School classes, there are Wednesday night clubs during the school year, and also special drama performances at holiday times.  Soul-winning/Visitation
Michiana Baptist Church
desires to be a biblical church in every area of ministry. Few
aspects of the local church received clearer and greater attention from
the Lord Jesus and the New Testament writers than that of
evangelization. MBC has organized church wide visitation
and soul winning opportunities every week. Our people go out into
our community and knock on doors inviting people to church as well as
sharing the gospel with them. Our hope is that every neighbor of our

Adult Ministry Twenty-something adults are an important part of the Michiana family. The young adult ministry offers a variety of opportunities for worship, Bible study, personal and spiritual growth, recreation, and fellowship. At the heart of the young adult ministry is the desire to help people build a strong, rewarding relationship with each other, the rest of the church and with Christ. At Michiana is a loving group of adult Christians in diverse life circumstances. Our church has many married couples as well as people who have never married, or are divorced or widowed. Although the life situations are vastly different among the adults in our church, we all enjoy unified love and fellowship. Our single adults have many opportunities to serve in the church. We seek to offer various ways to enhance their lives through fellowship, activities and occasional conferences or retreats designed for them. The Couples ministry is designed to help strengthen your faith in Jesus Christ while also strengthening the bonds of marriage. You and your spouse will share experiences, learning, and worship that will help you grow spiritually and discover God's will for your family. Ladies Fellowship Our ladies of all ages participate in Secret Sister program where they encourage each other through prayer and small gifts. They often hold themed banquets with special speakers.  | Missions Michiana Baptist Church supports many missionaries around the world. Our desire is to reach our own community as well as the "uttermost part of the earth" for Christ. The primary focus of our missions program is supporting people whose lives are dedicated to church planting or participate in domestic and foreign local churches so as to facilitate those ministries. We are praying that we may be able to do even more to reach many other places with the Gospel! Men's Group Michiana Men is a fellowship group that sprang up within the hearts of the men in the church. On their own they began to meet to fellowship, pray and study God’s Word. Men of all ages from all walks of life enjoy relaxed
conversation as well as spiritual fellowship around refreshments and
coffee. They also share prayer requests and pray together for
them and then listen to recordings of good Bible preaching. Van Ministry Michiana wants everyone to be able to attend church. That's why we have a bus ministry that reaches throughout the region, picking up boys, girls and adults who otherwise could not come. Nursery Michiana provides various nurseries for all services. Our nurseries are spacious, beautiful and inviting to the child. We offer separate nurseries for newborns and toddlers up to age four. We also offer a private room with comfortable furnishings and pleasing decor for nursing mothers and babies. Our nursery facilities are sanitary and safe. The toddlers enjoy their own Sunday School and Church service which engages their minds and hearts. Every child's parent is given a pager as they drop off their baby or toddler. In the event that a parent is needed he or she will be paged. Mom and Dad can rest assured that their baby is well cared for as they enjoy Church.  Senior Saints The greatest years of life are the golden years. Our Senior Saints ministry is designed to meet the needs of this seasoned generation. Our seniors participate in every facet of ministry in our church and are offered a Sunday School class developed to address the issues that are unique to their lives. Music Ministry The Michiana music ministry is designed to provide uplifting, Christ honoring worship for our services. The purpose of worship is to exalt Christ and to prepare the worshiper’s heart to hear God’s Word. Our music is vibrant and inspirational. We use traditional hymns, inspirational Gospel songs and beautiful worship music. We have a vast music program with an outstanding choir and several special singing groups. Youth Group The Michiana Youth Ministry is for young people in the seventh through twelfth grades. We encourage teenagers to reach all the potential God has given them and to live their lives with faith in Christ and a genuine concern for others. We provide a positive peer group to support, encourage, and pray for each other. Our youth group enjoys an informative Sunday School class where they are taught biblical principles to live by. They also have a Wednesday night Bible club. There are many exciting trips, camps and activities planned for our young people throughout the year. |
